Employ Laborers for Special Events & Venues

The San Francisco Day Labor Program is uniquely qualified to suit the needs of event coordinators or venue managers. The program's flexibility allows us to provide, with as little as an hour's notice, energetic and dependable workers for a few hours to a few months, depending on your schedule. The laborers can do everything from moving and hauling to set-up and clean-up, from flyering and security to cooking and catering. The San Francisco Day Labor Program is sponsored by the City of San Francisco and run by a long-standing community organization, La Raza Centro Legal. La Raza Centro Legal is a non-profit 501c(3) organization and does not profit from the Day Labor Program. All wages go directly to the workers.

The Program has over 10 years of experience in connecting contractors, event organizers, warehouses, conference exhibitors, and homeowners to the `extra pair of hands' they need to get the job done. With more than a 90% approval rating from employers, Day Labor Program workers have performed a variety of high quality jobs, from stuffing envelopes for political campaigns, providing set-up, clean-up, and security personnel for community events, and helping hundreds of homeowners and small businesses with moving and maintenance work.
